In case you are wondering what this random title which makes no sense means, I will clue you in. On the second weekend of May I went on a three day backcountry mountain bike tour from Stokesville Va to Douthat State Park in Bath County, and then back to Stokesville. Hence the term SDS 3 Day. Over the next few posts I will show what an amazing experience this was. Here is a video that the guys I went with put together.
Here is a link to some pictures the SMT guides took over the three day tour. Unfortunately these pictures can only give you a small taste of all the amazing singletrack we rode and the camaraderie that developed between the riders over the trip.
